I agree that Season 4 was weak. I'm hoping Season 5 will turn things around. In most shows, Season 2 is the peak of excellent writing. The "Pilot" episode is still one of my favorites!

Season 4 might be the weakest of all the HIMYM seasons, but it's still a very good one. So much was going on in the actors' and actress' lives that I have no doubt why it seemed so rough around the edges.

I look forward to grabbing the DVDs and seeing if the season has any more cohesion when watched serially instead of episodically.

My love for "Barie's Horse Adventure" would require another blog by itself. I saw "Star Trek" in IMAX and it was well worth it! I took my dad to see it, and as soon as the credits hit he looked at me and said.."AWESOME." He doesn't say that about movies much.

I read that they re-released Star Trek for a second run in IMAX theaters on September 4th. I am considering paying that ridiculous amount to see it (and I haven't paid for IMAX since V for Vendetta)

I always loved the old man Six Flags commercials. The music made me happy because it was so cheesy and campy and goofy. I had no idea about the Asian character; I guess I just wasn't paying attention when it was airing.
